The study investigated management of school facilities for effective instructional delivery in colleges of education in North Central states of Nigeria. Four research questions guided the study. Descriptive research design was adopted for the study. One thousand one hundred and eighty five (1,185) respondents, involving one thousand and ninety two (1,092) students, sixty three (63) lecturers, seventeen (17) staff of works department and thirteen (13) management staff selected through simple sampling by balloting were used for the study. College of Education School Facilities Management Questionnaire (COESFMQ) was used as instrument for data collection. The data collected were analyzed with mean and standard deviation to answer research questions. The findings revealed that both lecturers and students often and seldomly utilized the available facilities for effective instructional delivery. Some problems encountered by both lecturers and management staff in the management of school facilities include poor funding, lack of statistical data and poor maintenance culture. The findings also revealed that some of the strategies include: improved funding of education, regular maintenance of facilities, provision of adequate facilities and equipment. Based on the findings, it was recommended, among others, that government should make sure that the facilities are adequately available, well utilized and maintained for effective instructional delivery.
